Anyway, for my last blog of the month, I'm going to get my cards out and make a few predictions for the election. I'll do a three card draw for each question and give my interpretation on them.
They will probably not come true, but let's see what goes.
So, will Malcolm Turnbull be Prime Minister at the end of next week?
Cards: 6 of Wands, 3 of Pentacles, Fool
Okay, we know Turnbull is a fool the way he panders to the Far Right. To me this says that anything could happen. He took control early, but he's had to go into his cave and do some penance, and hard work. The Fool shows a new journey. I'm not at all sure that he's in - but it's going to be interesting.
Will Kelly O Dwyer lose her seat?
King of Cups, Death, King of Pentacles.
Okay, here's what I predict, I think she might be gone - if not, it will be another Indi type race. I really hope she doesn't keep her seat. She's awful, I think the race is close. I also have a feeling that if she does retain her seat there are going to be many questions to answer. With a lot of men in this reading, I reckon Luke Ball is in with a chance. Fingers crossed.
Will we have independents holding the balance of power in the senate?
Will the independents get up in the Senate?
3 Pentacles, 4 Swords, Magician
I'm going to go with a yes for this one. The Magician gets things done. A few big names may lose their tickets, being a double dissolution and all. Watch this space (Oh how good would it be if the Senate is even more gnarly than last time. I'm in awe for Ricky Muir, Jackie Lambie and the brick with eyes.
I just want my country back. I want some decency and common sense to prevail. The current mob appear to lack both of these qualities.
And really, if you want some reasons why voting for the current mob is not a good thing - here you go... Courtesy of Matthew Lewis of The Sauce: (Click for links the links to back all of this up)
