The Ask, Ask, Ask Meme

As always, it's do a bit of this and do a bit of that on a Sunday, after a lovely, lazy Saturday. So, it's do a question, write a bit of my tute paper.

Have I told you how much I love study?

Questions, as always, come from Sunday Stealing.

1 -If you were stranded on an island, who do you wish to be with?

Clive Owen. Next. Somebody practical and with a sense of humour would also be good.

2 - What do you feel right now?

Rather good, thank you.

3 - What chocolate is your favorite?

I'm a white chocolate sort of girl, so white Lindor balls always hit the sopt.

4 - Why did you create a blog account?

Many years ago I wanted to run a marathon and I started this blog to document that journey. I've run a number of half marathons, but the 42.2 kms remains elusive.

5 - Who is your favorite blogger?

Sunday Stealing, of course. I'm rather fond of The Plastic Mancunian as well - he makes me laugh.

6 - When was the last time you cried? Why?

Yesterday. Somebody touched a nerve. It wasn't a big cry.

7 - Who is your best friend?

Blarney and Jonella are my best friends. They serve very different functions and I love them both dearly. My work husbands all have a special place in my heart too - I have a plethora of work husbands.

8 - What kind of music do you listen to?

Quite a bit of rock and something known as Adult Alternative - where you get music like this:

9 - Do you have troubles sleeping at night?

Not, not often. I'm normally a good sleeper.

10 - What do you prefer, jeans or shorts?

Jeans - I don't have the legs for shorts. Too old.

11 - Did you try to change for a person?

No. If you can't take me for me, go away.

12 - Are you in a good or bad mood?

I'm in a lovely mood - though I do wish this tute paper would write itself.

13 - Name someone you can’t live without.

Clive Owen. Maow Maow - not that Maow Maow is a person, but he makes life better - gives the best cuddles.

14 - Do you have a grudge against anyone?

No. Grudges are pointless. Waste of emotional energy.

15 - Are you a crybaby?

Sook is my middle name - though I'm a lot more contained than I used to be.

16 - When people praise you for your looks, what feature do they praise?

My hair gets a lot of comments.

17 - What hair color do you prefer?

I love cobalt blue and pillar box red and all the teal like colours. I just like colour.

18 - If you can change anything about yourself, what is it?

I'd love to be a little taller and ness"heavy boned" I can work on the latter.

19 - Can you live without internet?

Yes, but it would make life difficult.

20 - Have you ever experienced being hysterical?

Yes. I  really don't like the feeling of being that out of control.

21 - Did you have an accident last year?

No, thank goodness.

22 - What are you thinking right now?

I really need to finish that tute paper before I check out from this wonderful hotel. And I must go check on the bath.

23 - Have you been hurt so bad that you can’t find words to explain how you feel?

No. As a writer, I'm good at putting words around things like this - unfortunately most of these words are expletives.

24 - Do you have trust issues?

Yes. Huge ones. Goes hand in hand with my fear of commitment and intimacy. Lots of work with some great therapists have helped a little.

25 - Who’s the person who first comes to your mind when someone mentions “love”?

Clive Owen. Maow Maow.

26 - Do you believe in the phrase “If it’s meant to be, it will be”?

To a point. Then what is meant to be doesn't happen.

27 - Do you believe in destiny?

Also to a point. I really believe you make your own luck and destiny.

28 - How do you look right now?

Like the Wreck of the Hesperus. Hotel dressing gown, hair everywhere, no makeup. It's a bit of a sight.

29 - Did you ever feel like you’re not good enough?

You're talking about the first 35 years of my life. Thank goodness for therapists.

30 - Favorite city?

Toledo, Spain, followed closely by London. Melbourne is my favourite Australian City - and I love Wellington in New Zealand too.
