Retreat Time

 In no real order: 

• The work computer is shut down.
• The car is filled with petrol. 
• The bags are packed. 
• The biscuits are iced. 
• Two loads of washing are hanging out to dry. 
• The floors have been vacuumed. 
• Lola, the builder's dog has had a pat (most important)
• The neighbour has instructions for the beast. 
• The beast is under his blankets on the bed. 
• The teeth are clean. 
• I've taken my lunchtime meds. 

I reckon all I need to do is pack the car and go.
