Thank you for giving me the best laugh I have had all weekend. (And no, not all of our American food comes from cans. Some of us know how to peel potatoes and pick green beans from the vine and prepare them and stuff like that.)
You can't roast canned pumpkin because it's pureed. And I really think you should try pumpkin pie. I once took canned pumpkin to Ireland because they don't have Thanksgiving there either and my husband's cousin wanted to taste pumpkin pie. She liked it.

LOL and the cans thing. hahaha
Ok, we could make a deal on these though I do think it's hilarious that you answered the way you did. *Holds fists in the air* Go Girl!
When we have Thanksgiving, you can tell us about an Australian holiday. Just type the substitute wording in TALL letters at the top, and say, "insert this anywhere it says "Thanksgiving". Would it work out?
And, no, we have a tremendous lot of fresh food here. I was raised on fresh garden produce and the chickens and rabbits that mother raised but we all thought of as our pets.
Thanks for the fun!
